Turns out a huge part of our social interactions are founded on our ability to name things. Names carry associations and references to other features of our culture. This means that we have biases and automatic relations to names. Savvy advocates use this bias to influence opinions for their causes. It’s a surprisingly interesting aspect of our psychology.
