However, perhaps this is an opportunity to focus on something else for a while. We discuss the history of dyslexia, some of the factors that may have contributed to the increase in prevalence, and diagnostic criteria. Furthermore, we describe some of the interventions and curriculum that has been designed to help individuals with dyslexia.
